We arrived home from Cincinnati yesterday after visiting the Law School. The weekend before we went to Seattle to visit that Law School... decisions... decisions.
We have a lot going on right now with trying to choose between these two schools. It seems pretty clear cut-- Seattle, right?? Beautiful, closer... but unfortunately it's not that easy. Cincinnati is ranked quite a bit higher, statistically the job opportunities post school are better and they've been around for almost over 170 years! However, there is always a pretty good chance you could end up in the state (or near the state) you finished school in so we'd rather end up in Seattle. However, Cincinnati may have more connections and cost of living is cheaper! :) Needless to say... we've got our hands full. To throw a little more stuff in the mix we are still on the waiting list for BYU and Arizona. BYU has been known to let people know they're in the day before school starts! So... stay tuned... hopefully we'll know sooner than later. This whole experience has made us so grateful that we get to pray to Heavenly Father for help. We're glad we're not having to do this on our own.
One more thing... Jack was seriously an ANGEL on both trips. He was so good on all four plane rides and was so patient in the car while we searched and searched for places to live. He is seriously the best little boy. Not sure how I got him and I have a feeling it won't last :) But we'll enjoy it for now.
We stayed with Jason's sister (Jessica) and her husband (Trevor) while in Seattle. They were so awesome and showed us all around Seattle, the Law School and took us apartment shopping. Thanks so much you guys!
This was a beautiful, tree covered trail that is right behind their apartment... it takes you to this awesome grove and park (below)
Jack-- hanging out while we're checking out the Law School in Seattle... in his Seattle Rain Gear!
This is the University of Cincinnati. It's really a neat campus.
There were a lot of scary areas in Cincinnati but there was also a lot of cool ones. We found this beautiful old town home for rent in a place called Marimont. All of the streets were lined with huge, old oak trees and it was just such a cool area.
How cute is he! He's sitting up all by himself now. This was after being in the car all day long too.

I miss my little boy. I vote wait....BYU!!! Can't imagine life without you. It's not been fun having you gone. Glad, however, that you are leaving it in the Lord's hands. He has more insight than I. Have fun in Hawaii!!

Good luck with the decision, it doesn't seem like it would be an easy one. We would ABSOLUTELY love it if you guys went to BYU, that would be so cool. I guess we should try to get together for lunch or dinner sometime soon. We'll pray for you guys!
It was so fun having you guys here! We are so excited for you guys to have the opportunity to be able to live somewhere new! We wish you guys the best of luck with the decisions and we will be super happy for whatever decision you guys make! We love you guys!
Go BYU! (just barfed a little)
Seriously, I hope that you get in. Don't let job opportunities be your deciding factor... there are many other things- where you want to live afterwards, bar passage rate, west coast v. east coast, etc. etc. Job opporutnities will come at either place. Your competing with U-dub in Seattle yes... but in Cincinnati your competing with 9 different Ohio schools most of which will flow in Cinci or Cleveland. So... pray and listen! Love you guys, you mean so much to us.
OMG bunny he is sitting up!!! Wow. He is just so handsome and getting so big. Happy 7 month to Jack yesterday :)
love ya lots
ps. go to seattle :)
We don't want you to go! We miss you guys...I can't believe Jack is sitting up! He looks so big!
Well we have family in both areas, so I'm ok with you moving either place. ;)
Your little one is so handsome! I can't believe how big he is.
