Beautiful Oahu

We had the opportunity to go to Oahu to visit Jason's parents in October. We had the best time. We feel so fortunate that we were able to go as a family; Jack and Reese loved the water and the sand-- they were always sad when it was time to go home for the day. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Miller for showing us a great time!

Dole Plantation and the Pineapple Express

Waikiki (Diamond Head in the background).
Reese looks like a little surfer girl.

The Sea Life Park

Reese loves "birdies!!!"

The best part of our trip was Jason's parents watched our kids for a whole day and NIGHT!!!!! We have not been away, just the two of us, since Jack was born and so we took advantage of our opportunity and went to Turtle Bay Resort on Northshore. We had so much fun (I could have stayed 2 more days).

We ate at a really nice restaurant on the beach.

Jason's dad let us borrow their car so we could cruise around the island.

Jack and Grandpa had their daily protein shakes... Jack would hold his cup up and say, "Toast-- to bananas!"

Ko'Olina was the best beach for what we needed. It is shallow, warm, and very calm. It is a perfect spot for kids! We spent most of our beach time there.

Snow-cones on Northshore

There was a "double rainbow!" (look up the video on youtube--haha)

We had a mini celebration for Jack and mine's birthdays.
Reese and I got matching bracelets with our names on them.

Waimea Falls

The last day we went to northshore and just watched the sunset. It was beautiful.
